Have a seconf Ablation sooner or later?

Hi Folks, I wonder if anyone has some advice for me. I had an Ablation a year ago to get rid of persistent A-Fib. It did the job well apart from leaving me with Ectopics, (that drive me mad). All was going ok until I had an episode about 6 weeks ago where my heart went 'potty' for 3 days. Very fast A-Fib followed by slow pulse rates. I started taking 100mg of Flecainide a day and have since been back in Sinus Rhythm with no probs. I have the opportunity to have a second Ablation in the near future or 'see how things go'? for the future. Would you get it done sooner or leave things whilst they're stable. Thanks

As a three times ablatee I would go for it if offered. Ten years AF free now. Proabably won't stop ectopics mind but may reduce them.

Due to what I have lived through, I would definitely not put it off! 😊

I had a similar year after my first ablation. Had my second ablation and the AF and ectopic episodes have completely gone. Go for it whilst you can

I had a second ablation about six months after first attempt. Has worked fine - AF gone and no episodes of any kind. 5 months later just embarking on cardiac rehab programme to improve fitness
