Today's funny story.

As part of my policy of trying to cheer people up , this weekend we have family down and have just done a full English for seven people.

Now Sam and I have a Velux window right above our bed which has been open to the stars these last few weeks of sunshine.

OK except that about 11 am the weather broke with rain of biblical proportions. Number one son casually saunters into kitchen and announces "Dad your bed is getting wet." OH S----. Dash down the corridor to find miniature Niagara falls coming off Velux and forming a great model of the Great Lakes on our bed.

Guess I'm sleeping with the cats tonight.

Raining hard here as well Bob - my family live under Winter Hill - which is on fire 🔥 so hoping they will get some of the rain.

Hope the cat’s bed is comfortable - but where will the cats go?

I thought you were going to say the cats on 'the hot tin roof' leapt onto your bed through the open window to escape the rain!!

Our youngest did do that once at 3 am. Because we are cut into a hillside he had jumped across onto the roof and thought that would be a good way down.

Oh no, trust that to happen when you have visitors and no spare beds free! Have you managed to get the bed dry?

Couldn't get the mattress into the tumble drier so sat with hair drier on hot for half an our.

Duvet cover and Duvet over the AGA so won't be long now.

Can just see the look on Bobs face with the hairdryer going, and we think we got issues with af, haha made me smile that Bob 👍
