Any advice please. Been a while since last post.

I have Paroxysmal af. And and tonight's been crap. Although my HR has been 70-80 I've been feeling like I've had pins needles sensation through out my body and like the feeling of a Hypo. Also bit light headed everytime I lay down in bed. Up a couple of times with sensation of needing a bowel movement. Freaks me out lol

How are you now? Do.you have any chest pain sensations? Might be worth a call to gp or 111...?

Have you drunk/eaten enough? When did you last have your bowels open? Generally unwell? What meds are you on? All things to consider....

Thanks guys. Meds I'm only on Metformin and Simvastatin. Been awake most of the night. We went out for a meal yesterday and after I had a run of 136 BPM then stopped. And then was uncomfortable the rest of the day and all night. HR was 70s 80s which I no is normal but had the AF feelings that go with high runs. And sensation of needing the loo. I get that sensation sometimes when having high run then I usually use the pushing method to stimulate the Vegas Nerve and it sometimes helps go back to normal. I also have a weird smell in my nose like horrid Curry if that makes sense I can smell normal but have this constant curry smell which is bloody annoying.

Doesn't help that I'm an ex Paramedic and we make the worse patient's lol

Might not bt AF related at all then - ear or sinus problems perhaps? I'm sure you know what to do if you're worried ;)

I would think that there are a sufficient number of unknowns here to warrant seeking medical advice. At least you could be given an ECG and (another?) ultrasound scan. I have PAF and was told that any unusual or prolonged symptoms should be investigated, particularly if they involved breathlessness.

Not what you're looking for?
