Inverted T waves on Kardia update

Last week i posted a trace showing inverted T waves on the Kardia device.

various posters were saying it was either nothing or to have it checked out

I sent this trace to my Cardiologist who immediately arranged for a full 12 lead ECG.

This showed the inverted t waves in lead 3 which was unusual so he arranged a treadmill test which i just had a day ago.

This showed a strong leaning towards ischemia so i have to have an Angiogram with a probable stent.

So for those who say the kardia device is just for a/fib well it just proves it isnt just picking that up but other irregularities as well

Thank you for letting us know ...this is interesting. Do keep us informed . I am also a big Kardia fan and usually send readings for analysis if anything untoward. You were right of course to send yours to your cardiologist.

Oh I am so pleased you got it checked out! I am also a big Kardia fan and I think anything very unusual like that does need a professional opinion.

Thank you for letting us know because I was thinking of you and hoping you would get it checked. Good to know your cardiologist reacted to it which is very encouraging.

Very best wishes CD

Hooray for Kardia! I have found it can show other heart problems but best to do what you did and get a cardiologist to investigate.

yes a great little device and thanks to drdave for inventing it.

not to scare people though it could have been something as simple as low potassium that caused it but that was all normal, just a question of elimination
