We have a new bmw car and I noticed I felt rough on a journey yesterday.
Last week the tech was querying interference on my pm. Could it be the keyless ignition. Been called back to cardio onSaturday. Pm is aSt Johns. 7 years old. Just my luck as going on holiday in 3 weeks.

There has been a lot of reports of such but how much is urban myth and how much reality is moot. Things like induction hobs are a no no if you have a PM as is electric welding due to high magnetic fields but the truth is we are never far from EMI (electro magnetic interference) . I believe the newer models of PMs are better screened.
Most modern cars have keyless entry/ ignition these days and I think more people would have reported problems. The only press report I remember was a few years ago and concerned a lady and a Nissan Micra. I have come across the opposite problem where my wife's phone used to send her Punto into limp home mode if it rang so nothing is impossible. I love my BMW.
Yes that can do, especially if your pacemaker is an older type. You should be able to get all the technical information about your pacemaker from your pace clinic and then check it’s compatability with the car.
One of the reasons we changed from BMW - unfortunately my husband had similar.
Oh dear. My hubby will be upset. My car is a motability lease. I wonder if we would be able to change it. Although I think they want to give me a 3 lead pm soon. My pm is a St Jude, 7 years old. Perhaps they have improved the shielding. Re the interference, The pm tech said to keep my iphone further away but I have used it in same position for years. Am trying to.
I wonder if our travel insurance will cover our holiday in 3 weeks. I was feeling ok when we booked. But not so good now.
