PAC’s and Afib

What’s worse ? PAC daily or Afib every so many weeks ? Both stink. Don’t want ablation Got tinnitus so if I don’t feel discomfort i dam sure can hear it. It’s a no win situation. And yes lying on left or right side make a difference

Sotalol ineffective. Magnesium no help. Dont drink. Smoke. Stress. 😕.

It's a good question. You often read that ectopics are a nuisance but usually nothing serious like AF, so don't worry about it. Then later you could read that all treatment for AF is for Quality Of Life only, not a cure. So on that logic daily ectopics might be worse than much less frequent AF.

Having said that, I've not got much advice on how to deal with either, particularly if ablation is ruled out. What other medication have you tried? Can you speak to a GP or even better an EP about trying something else? Hope you find something x

thanks.....going to get a monitor and maybe switch to Metoprolol from Sotalol
