What wonderful news. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you, Becks, There certainly is. (Me and my 'saying' collection!). Martin Luther King satd: "Faith is taking the first step when we can't see the whole staircase." Very true although I often have difficulty with wanting to know the whole picture at once! Sort of like I want patience and I want it NOW! irina1975

Congrats...My EP recently told me if I just "hold on" until this summer, I too will probably be off Eliquis and be able to resume my normal lifestyle, minus Eliquis, thanks to my Medtronic monitor.

Great news irina, all the best for the future. Thanks for the contributions to the forum. I ordered some magnesium and a good spray bottle to make my own magnesium spray. Should be here tomorrow, thanks again.

Best wishes, Shaun

in reply toShaunMB

Good it's an easy way to absorb magnesium, not a lot of money, and you know what you're getting. BUT sometimes I spritz just to get some extra even though I have not just showered. You can't overdose with this method and there are no magnesium G.I. upsets. Hope it works well for you. Take care. irina1975

Good news hope all goes well

Brilliant! I'm so glad u don't have to go for Coumadin appts anymore! Best of luck!!!

in reply toPattiJay

Hi Patty. I actually self tested at home so it was easy forme. Did weekly tests but coumadin tho helpful to me was a very harsh drug re side effects so am happy to be done with it. irina xx

So true! The side effects do get to be a pain!!! I am done with Coumadin as well and am on Xarelto. It is funny for me to think that after these 6 years now I take 15 pills and I'm due for a pacemaker (CRT-D) device replacement in 3 weeks already and I just don't know where the time went! I just think after this replacement I'm going to mentally start over and see if the next 6 years are the same! At least we won't be in the old Coumadin days!! Every day is one day a step forward!!
