Plagued with ectopics and flutters

Hi all new on here . i was diagnosed with mitral valve regurge , fast hear rate controlled with beta blockers last few years , im. told that magnesium is good for ectopics i have yearly echo done shows 1st degree hear block , i also suffer long term anxiety and panic attacks most of my life im in my 60s now regards Holly

Welcome to the forum Holly. I think somehow your post has been missed by everyone because we never leave posts unanswered. Yes, magnesium can sometimes really help with ectopics, a doctor who most of us know on this site Sanjay Gupta who works at York Hospital in the UK recommends taking this. I'll try and find the link to has recent YouTube post and put it here.

Hi Jean , thank you for replying ,yes i know Dr Sanjay from facebook i have seen some of his videos , he is wonderful eh wish i live in york ! im in kent !! Im also on the MpN forum on here im at risk with that also combined with heart issues so take blood thinners im in my 60s so have hig bp also ,so i do get more axious because of it all , do you do the breathing exceises Sanjay talks about to help with ectopics ? best wishes Holky x

I think he is absolutely amazing and he genuinely wants to help people.

I've tried just about everything that's ever been recommended on this forum and I think deep breathing can really help. Have you ever watched one of Sanjays live Facebook broadcasts? I tell you that man is a saint!

Bless you Jean ,for the link hadnt seen that one , i know he spends a lot of his time devoted to helping people for free too eh ! yes he is amazing and has got to be the best there is in his field i need to do the breathing excerises more , trouble with me is i want instant results !! yes im friends with him on facebook you take care and thanks for your input Holly

Hi jan think you , im sure this site will be a great help , my usual cardioligst is snowed under with patients here in kent was due to see him in Sept it was cancelled because so busy , im seeing my Gp on monday to try and help me Although this is a little problem because my Gp of 31 years who knew me so well has retired !! so im hoping new Gp will be just as good . you have lovely weekenf also regards Holly
