Having difficulty logging in,why?

I have diverticulitis and PAF, drugs don't help the stomach but, I keep problem at bay most of the time by

1 Fybogel with merbeverine.

2 avoiding any thing with seeds in in

3 no chickpeas

4 AND the seemingly impossible task of escaping stress inducing grown up kids and ancient dependent mothers.

Hi Luludean . This sounds a bit like I was years ago, I needed fybogel, or I used another one, forget the name, was either psyillium or ispaghula. But in the end the underlying problem was not fixed, only patched.

I eventually found I was wheat intolerant and after quitting wheat my digestive problems slowly disappeared. Might be worth trying some exclusion for a while (my wheat exclusion needed 2 months and more to be sure - the gut has to repair itself which is slow).

Check out Youtube for Dr Sanjay Gupta and his videos on Atrial Fibrillation and the stomach connection e.g. youtube.com/watch?v=ODdDxmb... Many of us discovered all this by trial and (mostly) error but he looks to have researched all this with an open mind. Basically any digestive problem (GERD, hiatal hernia, IBS, and no doubt diverticulitis) will cross over into and affect the heart via neural and physical connections.

Good luck
