Update on second ablation

Back home after having a hopefully successful RF ablation yesterday. Much more comfortable than the cryo ablation with no pain yet in the groin area. I have already had the flashing auras today. My own private firework display.

My EP isolated the two left pulmonary veins and the right lower which must have all reconnected or not isolated properly during the cryo ablation in January 2015. He tried to induce AF at the end and couldn't so time will tell. A few palpitations but nothing too scary.

Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight as hardly slept with all the comings and goings and beeping monitors.

Hi Bella, it's good to hear that all went well.

It always amazes me how there's so much noise in a hospital at night. The times I've been in it comes mostly from chatter at the nurses desk. Enough to give anyone a nervous breakdown - not get better! There certainly is no place like home.
