I have scoured the Internet but cannot find the name of a Private EP in the Crawley/Brighton area. Can anybody recommend one. I don't mind going further afield if I have to.

Have you checked the list on AF Association website?

Hello Bob.

No I didn't think about the list. I need to make more time to read and get the best out of the site.

Don't mean to be rude, but I wonder if you are aware that you can edit your own posts if you spot a mistake after you've posted by clicking on the downward pointing arrow to the right of the 'Like' box and then choosing 'Edit'?

The best EP in the Brighton area is Dr Jack McCready. He practices at several locations from Brighton to Worthing. He can be contacted via his secretary, Gen Firmin, on gen@sussex-ep.com. He did my ablation about 18 months ago, I have seen him several times since. He works through NHS or privately. I am afraid I went privately as I had a long wait for an unsuccessful cardioversion and wanted to get it sorted, which (touch wood) it has.

Thank you for this

I will e mail his secretary as I understand that there is a 19 week waiting list to see a Cardiologist on the NHS. I can't wait that long!

That's what I was also told but I was referred at the very end of June and had my 1st appointment on 30th Sept so about 13 weeks.

Hello. 13 additional weeks on that blooming awful drug is just too long. I have contacted Dr McCready ' s secretary in the hopes that I can go as a private patient. I am very lucky that I have some savings. Thank you all for your wonderful support which has got me through some very dark moments.
