EP in Northern Ireland

Can anyone tell me about an EP in N Ireland? I think there is one in Antrim but not sure? Thanks for any help

I have AF and have been treated by Dr Ernest Lau, who is an EP based at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Yes, I was very happy with the treatment I received.

There are at least 3 EP's at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital - as far as I know. Dr Ernest Lau, Dr Michael Roberts and Dr Conor McCann. I have seen Dr Lau and Dr McCann in Belfast and have been impressed with both.

I think one of them, perhaps Dr Roberts sees patients at the Antrim Area Hospital. but I'm not sure.

The routine wait for new patients is scary - it would have been 16 months in my case, but I went to see Dr Lau privately at the Ulster Clinic and then went back for review on the NHS.

Thank you for your reply It is very helpful. Thinking of going private myself - may I ask how much it costs please?

I paid £200 in August 2014 and had to wait only a few days. All my investigative testing had already been done and my NHS referral detailed the results, so I had no additional costs.
