Ablation day 4

Woke up with plenty of energy, but after lunch had a 30 second bout of tachycardia which left me exhausted. Tired for the rest of the day with some jumps in my heart at random times.

Remember Bob's mantra "Rest, rest, rest." And we are talking up to 3 months of healing. Try to visualise burns on your hand and the healing there then imagine the same thing inside your heart.

It sounds as though you are doing very well!

I found the bruising in groin etc useful as once that started to fade to grey I knew my heart was beginning to heal. Try not to think about these little blips as they are really very normal and to be honest you are doing pretty well by all accounts. Ectopics and tachycardia are all part of the process for a while yet.

BobD is right, its part of the healing process.

I am now 4 weeks past ablation and still have all the little flair ups here and theire. Did a 24 holter, showed 55 min afib, 150 PAC and 230 PVC, even recorded 2 R on T.

Before the ablation that would have scared the sh.. out of me but now I know its part of the healing process.

Don't stress, take it slow and you will see it all will be fine.
