So this morning I felt on top of the world. This afternoon I had a few hours of AF so laid on the couch and watched TV. I felt better when I went back into NSR so dragged myself off the couch and took our dog for an evening walk. It is always lovely walking by the water. Nature nurtures the soul. I still feel like I have a big knot in the centre of my chest but the rest of my body feels better from the walk.
On another note, my next (and hopefully last) ablation is now booked for the end of March. That will be ablation number 4 in just over 2 years - two were for SVT so not as invasive as the Afib & AFlutter double. My Flutter was fixed with the last ablation and hopefully this AFib touch up will fix that too and enable me to get on with life.

I do hope this one is successful and you can start living again. I’ve also had 2 ablations for SVT and just had my second for AF keeping everything crossed that things will get better now! Good luck 😉
Great photo and looking forward to my visit in March, hopefully it won't coincide with your ablation and maybe we can meet up before you have it. I'll text you after we arrive on March 16th.
Hope you feel better in the meantime and good luck with the op if I don't manage to see you beforehand.
I remember you writing about your third- I thought me having three ablations in less then two years was excessive- I know everyone is different/ some folks only have one or two - I am still on the wishful thinking that my third is a charm- six weeks ago
I too am about to have ablation number 4 in 2 years, the first three for atrial fibrillation. They were successful but only for a matter of months sadly. Based on the results of a recent ECG, this latest one should be for atrial tachycardia.
Did you have sedation or general anaesthetic for your ablations?
I had sedation for the first and that was a horrible experience and then general anaesthetics for the others. I haven’t had any AF since my last ablation 5 years ago.
