Anyone else get a bloated stomach when in AF? It always seem to happen to me. Been in AF for about 9 hours, not bad but always find it hard to sleep hence writing at this time.

Bloated stomach
No but if I eat too much I get AF guaranteed. I have to eat small and regular and never fill myself up or anywhere near it.
Try sipping hot water, that always helps settle my tum when bloated or nauseous.
For me it is the other way round. Eat too much and heart plays up. NO AF since ablation but loads of ectopics. All to do with vagus nerve.
Yes - when I had AF episodes I had bloating, burping and gurgling throughout and usually diarrhea when I returned to NSR. What with all that and peeing every 20 minutes, it was a real misery. Flecainide has been my friend in stopping the AF.
Yes, I have had too much burping for a long time not in AF and taking just Flecainide, is your tongue furry white? I am trying to improve my gut soil (evidently there is 2kg in everybody's!) with less sugar and some probiotics but not making much progress....any ideas out there?
I stopped my toast in morning and eat fruit and natural yogurt for breakfast. I now eat little bread. Big improvement. Worth a try.
Thanks Lallym, I moved from ordinary bread, which often has extra gluten added to buck wheat and gluten free alternatives, will now try taking it out all together. The problem I find lies in not jumping from the frying pan into the fire as when hungry you then start consuming too much other stuff, which also may not be too good.
In may case the bloating after the food is the first. It might be followed atrial ectopics and atrial ectopics might be transformed into flutter.
