I had a cryoablation last week on Wednesday and it seems to me that everything is going well . There is just one problem. My left arm is really bruised and hurts all the time. I am just wondering for what they needed the left arm if all the injections and the entry for the veins were on the right side. Do you need any veins on the left arm?

Cryoablation
Unless they put a cannula in there I don't either. Why not ring the specialist nurse where you had it done and explain you are worried.
When I had my ablation they clamped something around the top of my left arm which I took to be a blood pressure sleeve. This was done just before the anaethetic took effect. The pain was excruciating and I demanded that they remove it. I had cancer in this arm many years ago and had been fitted with a bracelet which stated " Do not use left arm."
Whilst I appreciate that you do not have a radiotherapy damaged arm your left arm will definitely have been used for monitoring at the very least.
If the pain does not ease you need to speak to your EP's secretary.
Thank you for this information jennydog, I have lymphoedema in left arm after cancer surgery and like to be forewarned in case I need ablation!
countrygirl1 I'm not a wimp and I have a high pain threshold but I truthfully had never known pain like that before. My left arm had never been tested before as my GP always uses my right arm for b.p. and injections because of the slight lymph oedema. They had been careful to fit me with the warning bracelet yet when I was wheeled in to the cryo lab about 6 people descended from all directions to attach things to me and that was when the attachment to my left arm was made.
Don't ever let anyone near your left arm!
Since my ablation 6 weeks ago I have not been able to lift my left arm out straight without pain. I had put this down to a frozen shoulder but funny that is should coincide with ablation. Mmmmm strange!
