Catch up on medicine decrease .

I've decreased my bisoprolol to 1.5mgs for the morning dose and so far have found it beneficial as the tiredness is much more manageable .

Unfortunately for the last three days I have had what I can only describe as flutters in my eye which I took to be the start of a migraine episode but it didn't progress to the full blown attack . I was able to walk to town and back without being troubled by it.

I was wondering if anyone else had these ? And if they were associated with anything else other than migraine . The flutters come and go are not there permanently .

Please keep well. Terry.

I get a lid flutter from time to time but not related to anything. Just a normal muscle tick.

Ditto same as Bob. Sometimes get a twitch in my eye. Always have all my life. They're so annoying.

Just Googled it and they say that the most common causes of eyelid twitch are stress, fatigue, and caffeine.

Yes Tergo, I get bouts of fluttering eyelid which can last for weeks . Can be due to over tiredness, stress or just generally over doing things.

Sorry I didn't explain the "flutter " very well . I meant the aura that happens when you have the warning signs that you are getting migraine . This usually develops into a full blown attack but this time it didn't , just hung around a bit. Left me with a bit of a thick head though . Terry

Terjo My migraines ( the headache part ) stopped with the menopause but I still occasionally get the fuzzy head, nausea and tiredness, whooziness. I assume it is still migraine but toned down. Pleased you are less tired on reduced dose of bisoprolol. I've just been put back on 1,25 and seem to be managing, though am dozing off after lunch some days!!..Best Wishes WendyB

I am gradually moving my Bisoprolol dose 2.5 mg through the day so that I can end up taking it in the evening so that I don't feel so tired. Think I am getting used to it though anyway. Not quite as bad as it was in the beginning.

Get it checked. I had what I assumed was an eyelid problem but mine was like a loss of the sight on top half of my eye. I.e. was watching TV and could only see bottom half. Went away after 20 mins or so. Happened twice. When AF diagnosed EP thought it was a TIA.

Thank you for your replies. My experience was like lallym's but flickering. How did your GP decide it was a TIA ?

I have had migraines for most of my adult life. They started when I was twelve and were extremely severe, they didn't happen when I was pregnant

As regards the bisoprolol , I take 1.5mgs with breakfast and 2.5mgs at bedtime. I'm tolerating it well now but it did take along while to accommodate it. I'm active , my age is 84. Be well Terry
