Warfarin and Magnesium citrate

Has anyone found a problem with elevated INR levels when taking magnesium citrate please ? I've been taking 300mg daily plus about 30 sprays of the oil and my inr levels are climbing ( I self test ). I wonder whether I should add Vit K2 ?? to stabilise ?

Or reduce the warfarin.

Ask your local Anticoagulation service.

Well I would have to reduce the dose anyhow......awaiting instructions from clinic. I know that MarkS uses K2 in tandem with daily warfarinand I'm wondering if anyone else does.

Consider this:

Thank you for this Seasider . There have been so many recommendations for magnesium supplementation from members on this forum yet this article is clearly against it for warfarin users.

Further, to complicate matters, I've just had a reply from my hospital clinic stating that the interaction status is unknown ! Very helpful.

Think I will stop taking this and just use the oil spray

Magnesium citrate also interacts with lisinipril and flecainide . A lot of affibers take one or both of these medicines . Magnesium oxide does not interfer.
