If you type in health insurance in the search box at the top of the page you may find some answers there
All Clear
Good to Go have worked well for me.
Insure and go really good annual policy
Many on this forum have stresses to really be careful about your declarations AND the policies exclusions. You MUST READ the policy carefully and not rely on what is said on the phone as many in the call centres are NOT SPECIALISTS and are generalists. If you are unsure ask to be put through to one of their people trained to discuss medical aspects or failing that to a supervisor (though they may not be much better). When you get the policy and the insurance schedule check the wording. If you don't like it you can cancel in 14 days.
Recently the daily mail had an article and the BBC had a feature warning people about checking carefully AND saying watch out for cheap ones because often they have more exclusions and are less likely to pay out because they wiggle. As my sleep apnoea consultant said last week give them absolutely the smallest opportunity and payouts will be refused.
Saga charged me £20 for 5 days in Portugal recently
secure.travelinsurance4medi...
Used them since diagnosis 2014 they have been excellent and only insurer who would take me when I was undergoing tests and 7 days after ablation.
I use my bank (HSBC) it's free providing I update my medical conditions yearly. I've been on the AF Register since 2012
Try the AA (especially if you are a member)
Much appreciated to all for your replys I'll have a look at the company's suggested.
Kind regards and keep well!
