hi every one hop all are ok , i read few people taking about aspirin , iam on it 75mg a day for over 7 years now , was in warfarin before and the cardia change it to me iam bet worry , are they doing some job , some advise please , i will see the cardia on 20/1/16 . thx

Aspirin is not an anticoagulant it is an antiplatelet and in UK has been discredited for use in stroke prevention for patients with AF. Aspirin has many uses in cardiac care especially for those with stents or artificial valves etc but not for stroke prevention. No it is not doing the same job .

Even for other cardiac conditions, clopidogrel is the preferred antiplatelet treatment. But you don't say what your actual condition is so it's hard to say much more.

hi mike i been in AF FOR over 24 yeras now ,and last 2 month my AF is getting 24/7 / i decide to see cardio . as i was doing all rigth all that time few AF but was good . i really bet lost now , thankyou

I think it's time for an ablation then. They didn't do them 24 years ago but a well proven procedure now.
