I was maintained on amiodarone for 6 months after going back into sinus rhythm. My cardiologist has now switched me to Dronedarone because it has fewer side effects. I am also still on bisoprolol 1.25mg. Only been on it a few days but I feel terribly tired. Anybody else had experience of Dronedarone? Does the tiredness wear off?

I've been on Dronedarone but afraid I can't recall any undue tiredness. I certainly can though when I took Bisoprolol
No Yatsura, not statinsns, apparently nausea and tiredness are listed as side effects, usually clear up two-three week's I'll keep my fingers crossed! This is a safer drug than Amiodarone,so I'll try and peservere.
Thanks for replying.
NO IT WON'T ! Demand to see him again urgently (ask your GP to help). Dromedarone works brilliantly with some people and terribly with others. My guess is that if you check your blood pressure it will be very low.
Thanks Mike 11,no checked my B/P today ,it's up if anything! Nausea feels a bit better today,I'll try another week, the information leaflet said it could 2/52 to settle!
