Hi Bob

Ann has her brain tumour surgery this morning (Friday) so we'll have to wait and see how she is. Probably we won't make it - but who knows? The registrar marked her up with a big felt tip arrow last night so they remember which side to work on. She's very positive about it all

Hi Bob, further to my last message I am afraid we won't now be able to join you on the 19th as today I had a letter for a pre op assessment at the Bristol Eye Hospital in preparation for a trabtulectomy to reduce the pressure in my eye. Not looking forward to the op but needs must as I have to safeguard my sight in case Mike can't drive at some time in the future. So sorry to have to cry off but hope you understand.
