Probably not but whatever is right for you is all that matters. I expect youhad grief with your holiday insurance.
As Bob says .. you do what is right for you. In your position I doubt very much that I would have flown to Florida the day following a cardioversion ( in fact I know I wouldn't but that's me ! ) That would be sufficient trauma to the heart without bringing the pressure of flying long distance into the equation
I have had very many cardioversions & been offered conflicting advice over the years.You know how you feel. Others will react differently to the same situation.
A bit late now but of course you should have contacted you insurance company at the time. Let's hope they are ' understanding '!

I was advised to rest and have someone with me for24 hours post ablation due to anaesthetic after effects. Surely these Instructions cover flying long haul too? I wouldn't have gone so soon either
