Thank you I will order one. Just wonder though if there needs to be somewhere obvious showing that its Warfarin or a NOAC - this information may be critical in some emergency situations?

Dear Angiek

The card is double sided. On the reverse you can fill out all of the information regarding the anticoagulant you are taking. I hope you find it useful.

Many thanks

Vicki

A couple of years ago, I was going to get a bracelet with blood group and other information on it. My GP did not have a record of my blood group, other than on my old maternity notes. Apparently the NHS does not offer a free blood group test. I think this is something that should be offered to everyone on anticoagulation, a group which is obviously more at risk from a bleed than most. This info could then be put on the card described above and used should someone need a transfusion.

I had my blood group on a bracelet and also both my hospital numbers - my EP is not in my local area. A blank line or two on the card would be useful.

Hi Ladyboss :-) if you take an anticoagulant there should be a card in the box.

I find a wrist band is better than a card, I don't always have a bag or pocket for a card and wear the wrist band 24/7 which contains details of my AF and medication ...

theidbandco.com/Rubber-Medi...

If I fall and bang my head or become unconcious my wrist is the first thing anyone will check and the band will be seen .
