Until you can get them, write or type a card with info for your wallet. Another thing I do is wear a waterproof bandaid on my chest that says "on Pradaxa". That is my blood thinner. I don't like to wear medical alert jewelry, so I do this instead.

Ask your pharmacist. They should stock them for warfarin. 😊

But obviously not with Warfarin.

I have to say I make up my own medical alert cards as I am on several meds which medics needs alerts to as well as several which I absolutely must NOT have - like Beta Blockers.

If you have a computer & Printer it’s pretty easy. I put on a photo of myself, my NHS no, details of my GP & Consultant’s. Do NOT put on your address, email or phone no.

You can also put medical alerts on your mobile which can be accessed even through a locked screen although why I bothered when I needed it most the paramedics didn’t know how to look.

You could also look at medicalert.org.uk/products/...

I have a bracelet with information on the back, saying I'm on warfarin and bisoprolol and giving my NHS number so they can look up my records. I believe paramedics do look for information bracelets, so it's worth considering.

You should be able to get cards at your clinic, Sebhel

Hi, I am on Apixaban and there is always a card in the new box. I do wear a medi alert bracelet, and that is what it is, a piece of jewellery. I also carry a hand written laminated card with the names of all my drugs.

Can’t do any more than that!

Hi Sherralee

On E-Bay and other places you can get medi latex bangles. You can get literally anything you wish, I have On Apixaban on mine, I paid £3-99 for 2 bangles. Type into the search medi bracelets.

Hope that you get this sorted.

Every time I collect a prescription for my rivaroxaban there is an alert card in the box. Maybe ask your pharmacist????????
