I know it's upside down but I've never seen anything like this.

I wouldn't like to comment but it looks like something that needs attention is going on.

Why don't you send it off for analysis for now but save it and take it to show someone tomorrow. Send it to your EP if you have one.

I've just read your previous post where you say your husband is dismissive of your condition. I feel for you as my husband is similar. Let him have it just once and see how he feels! Think he would change his attitude a bit sharpish.

Don't let that stop you though, put yourself first.

Do you feel ok?

Pat.

Marilyn you shouldn't expect people here to diagnose such things as we are not medically trained. I agree that the trace looks very odd, even worse because it is upside down but even so if you worry then you should send it off to Alicevor for analysis. You will get an answer very quickly. This forum is great for sharing experience but doesn't replace a doctor!

Bob - thank you for your reply. You are right of course. Shame it came out upside down but its a start. I will send it for analysis. Regards Marilyn.

I've seen similar on mine, not exactly the same but close.

Standing near an operational microwave, a wifi router even the TV can do crazy stuff your readings.

So can a dog whistle. Mine never gives me a decent trace and only increases anxiety so I haven't used mine for a long time. At least I didn't have to pay for it as it was one of the original trial units. I am told the newer ones are more reliable .

This is interference / noise. Likely electrical as it's appears regularly and is very rapid.

Underlying rhythm is sinus.

I thought the same, even wondered if it was from a phone ringing.

Jackmccready - Thank you so much for taking the time to respond regarding the ECG above. I'm sure it has put the lady's mind to rest.

Please don't criticise those who come on here just like Mar1lyn has done. She wanted to know if anyone else has had a result like that. Some of you may have someone interested to turn to at home, or more confidence to be proactive yourselves and go straight to your reliable and knowledgable Dr. Others want to share for either reassurance or to be told it's important enough to take to their consultant etc.

No one is diagnosing that I've seen anyway.

Please let us know what happens Mar1lyn and how you are.

I had to look at your profile as your reply sounded very knowledgeable.

It is interesting that there is an EP who a member of this forum

Absolutely. Dr McCready did my successful ablation last year.

And very commendable. Such a good way to see how A.F. patients really feel and what worries us.x

I sent my very strange (well just a good example of how it usually looks!) Trace to Alivecor for analysis as it was marked as 'undetermined' and was told it was 'Bradycardia, sinus rhythm' which was obvious but did not explain the other features so I wouldn't waste your money on that, I think a 'real doctor' is the way to go.

Thank you for this information, much appreciated.

DrDave. Thanks again. Will try this suggestion.

P.S. The latest 'fix' on the AliveCor has sorted my readouts. Now getting a 'normal' result in the 50-60 bpm range. Makes a huge difference. Thanks so much.
