I am going to Tenerife in June, normally I am looking forward to my holiday, however since I was diagnosed with AF in November I am nervous about my holiday. What do you do to prepare for your holiday ?
I seem to be fairly well under control with Bisoprolol and Warfarin.
Thanks

Go and enjoy it. What is the worst that could happen. I would rather feel rubbish in a nice setting than at home feeling miserable. Try not to get stressed as this won't help. Make sure you have good travel insurance cover and plenty of drugs . Live your life despite AF. It may be in your life but don't let it take over and become all of your life.
I agree with Bob and Ian. The weather in June should be great so relax and enjoy it.
Just be careful about lifting heavy suitcases and carrying lots of shopping back from the supermarket up loads of stairs. Also stayed relaxed - it's easy to get stressed about the flight, car hire etc.
I ignored all this when we went to Tenerife in November and suffered as a result.
I don't think you should go and should give your ticket to me, shame to waste it
Seriously though, my last holiday made me ill because I drank some beers during the day, I reckon that was the reason anyhow, who knows! So I'd beware the alcohol even if it's a steady intake. Maybe I was just unlucky.
