Hi to all of you lovely people, just thought I would share this with you. I have just renewed my Annual Holiday insurance, I advised them of my medical conditions, Type 2 diabetes, Retinopathy and AF. I was really surprised to hear it was only £120 for my and my husband for the year. !
Holiday Insurance: Hi to all of you... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Holiday Insurance
That sounds good. What insurance company are you with?
lucky you. I was refused annual insurance outright, one week in europe £120 just for me
Hi all, I am insured with Insure and Go, they seem to be ok, I haven't claimed yet though.
Good job Bernie,
My annual premium is similar with "Holiday safe" excludes North America however

Insure and Go were my insurers the other year and paid all expenses when I had to go to A&E followed by a consultants appointment the next day when AF struck me for the first time whilst on holiday in Crete. The only additional cost was from my Dr at home who charged me £20 to fill in the insurance company medical questionnaire!!!
Sounds really good, a great deal. I'll remember the name, thanks!
John lewis apparently are very good too.
I am insured through Allcleartravel.co.uk they are a specialist comparison site and you put your conditions and they find the best deal for you. I've got several pre-existing conditions and so has my husband and for two weeks in Spain this year its £88 for the two of us. A week in Tenerife just for me last year was £68 but the cover was brilliant. Both times we've gone with Explorer Insurance through them and although we've not had to claim so can't say if it was good in that respect, when I rang them with a query the customer service was excellent.
