Hi Matt, try typing Holiday Insurance in the Search icon at the top and you will find a selection of posts relating to this.

Personally I found Saga very good to deal with and also AllClear.

Hi Jalia

As above I can’t find anything recent , all the posts seem to be 2+ years old

Possibly because very few holidays were taken due to Pandemic! You will still get an idea of good companies though

Have you visited the A F Association website? we offer some recommendations of Companies that are comparable and sympathetic in their approach to individuals living with a heart rhythm condition. What is a GHic card?

Hi the GHIC is the same as the old EHIC....which ran out after brexit although u can still use EHic until the date if it runs out. It’s a health cover for EU countries that the U.K. has brokered with the other countries. But each country varies slightly. I was ill in Spain with heart and they didn’t want any money at hospital it was covered by card....herein France I think you pay some and claim back in U.K. whrn u get home. It covers hospitalization not minor stuff like colds etc.......

Yes they are worth doing. Hospitalization is the main worry in holiday isn’t it . Just Europe this is for.Sue

Try staysure, I have holiday insurance with them and I have other health issues, there are a few on the market try Saga as well

I had a very bad experience with Staysure and would not go with them again because of that. I had a small claim with Saga and they were fine to deal with.

We went to Portugal in August and Saga covered me, including AF. Make sure to provide that info in your application. Good luck.

I use the holiday insurance they offer from my local post office. Not the cheapest but I’m fully covered for my afib etc.

I have used Barclays as I use them for everyday banking etc. Quite straightforward.
