Sheffield AF Group Meeting

I have just attended my first meeting and can recommend it as a useful forum to discuss issues with other AF patients. It is run by an Arythmia Nurse and there is the opportunity to get direct medical advice. Whilst a lot of us get great help from this AFA on-line forum it is sometimes useful to talk to a group of others or medical staff face to face. The next meeting is 10am Monday 6th June 2014 in the Medical Education Centre, Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, UK.

Hi, I think it is something that the Sheffield Cardiology Dept started themselves. I picked it up from the AF Assoc website. I am not aware of any others elsewhere but I will ask at the next meeting. The thing that is on in Birmingham is the AF Assoc Patients Day on Sunday 5th Oct at the ICC in Birmingham. I am told that the last one was very good. I am planning to go. If you sign up now it is £20. Details on AFA website.
