Just a reminder for those of you who pop in and out of the Forum and may have missed earlier posts. This meeting is available to all Forum members who have concerns about the risk of stroke, COVID-19 and AF.

On Wednesday 1st July, Dr Puneet Kakur, Lead Consultant Stroke Physician for Epsom and St Helier has agreed to talk to us on “Stroke, Covid 19 and AF.” We hope he will be good enough to take some questions after his talk and also that Dr Abhay Bajpai, Cardiology Consultant and Electrophysiologist at Epsom and St Helier) and St Georges (our Medical Director) and Stephanie Cruickshank, Arrythymia Nurse specialist at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals, will take some more questions as they did this month.

If you would like to listen, watch and even participate in the meeting, please email Rosemary (RosyG) as soon as possible on:

info@surreyasg.co.uk

Please include any questions you may like answered and Rosemary will reply with simple joining instructions.

We appreciate that some may not be familiar with using Zoom so please click on the link below to one of RosyG’s previous posts and you will find information about how simple the process is.

The meeting is free to all but there is a facility to make an entirely voluntary and modest contribution to the running costs of the Surrey ASG. This was previously covered with a raffle held at the Epsom Hospital meetings pre Coronavirus.

The meeting for Wednesday 5 August has been arranged and more information will be available soon

Rosemary and I look forward to “seeing” you on the 1 July…..stay safe and well.

Is the meeting open to people not in the Surrey group? And what time does it start please?

in reply to Belle11

Absolutely Belle, as mentioned in the post, it starts at 5pm British Time on Wednesday 1st July. Just send an email to RosyG at info@surreyasg.co.uk and she will provide you with the code needed to join the meeting. The meetings normally last an hour.

Hope you can make it......

Thanks very much Flapjack. And I see now that the 5pm time is in the other message you linked to. I have another Zoom commitment later that day but will certainly hope to fit this in too.
