Revolutionary membrane can keep heart beating perfectly
This looks interesting:
The thin, circuit-lined stretchable membrane has been developed by scientists at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Washington University in St. Louis and may arrive to human hearts in 10 to 15 years.
Sounds great for the younger AF patients amongst us with plenty of years left.
Yes, I don't expect to benefit from it!
Do you live in Holywell?
No, Newport, Pembrokeshire. It's the house name.
I saw that and tried to post it too (major fail)... It does sound interesting, doesn't it? Sounds like fairly major surgery but fantastic if it can keep the heart beating properly.
