Does anyone have experience of a hybrid ablation?

Hello, all being well with the rest of my heart, I'm about to undergo a hybrid ablation, a relatively new procedure in the UK. I'm wondering if anyone else in the community has experienced this and how was it for you? It will be a 2 part procedure with the surgical thoracic part coming first. I'd like to know how long it took to recover from that and what effect it had on AF in advance of the catheter ablation. Any info very welcome!

Many thanks,

Tina

BTW, sorry if you've read this before - I tried to post a few days ago but think I failed, unless of course I've succeeded twice....
