Hi bigE, do take it very easy for a couple of weeks.Just because you don't have a big zip up your front doesn't mean your heart hasn't had a good kicking. It will take time (up to three months) for everything to settle down and the scar tissue which blocks the rogue impulses to form so you may get a few events during that time. Just be patient. relax and enjoy NSR. Keep us posteds please.

Hi Big E, how long was you in theatre for? my first ablation took 5+ hours and took as many weeks for me to get totally back to normal and my 2nd ablation took 2 hours and yep it took me 2 weeks to feel right again, I think there are many factors that come in to play re how long your recovery is.. I was 3.5 stone lighter for the 2nd one and had found exercise so was really fit, so this no doubt played a part in my much better recovery time - hope all is going well for you - having my 3rd in August and have high hopes
Well I was in the lab for 5 hours I had a transosophigeal scan first then the ablation got going.Actually I didn't have a general so maybe recovery time is quicker!
And I did come round during the procedure - Which worked out well for me as the Dr told me that all was going well, and asked if I was OK to keep going! To which I said pop me back under and knock yourself out Its a week ago today still in sinus and thinking of going swimming again next week.I notice also when I'm back in sinus that I don't sweat any near as much
