Joes-dad Ah Guinness : As they say in Ireland ( where I was born , 60 plus years in North America - Canada & USA ).

Guinness puts you to bed at night . -- And gets you up in the morning .

Many moons ago after a rugby match in Dublin , my cousin was into the Guinness more than the rest of us . A drinking buddy remarked: " I WOULD HATE TO CLEAN HIS CAGE OUT IN THE MORNING " Happy St. Patrick's Day .

I do have some secret canned , ready to drink, stash. Problem becomes there is no way to drink it without her smelling it…… stimulating her thirst. lol It’d be very disrespectful to have beverage in front of her. I never thought about this stuff before Rotflol. Puts the kibosh on me. but I’m glad for her. Changes things we looked forward to doing …..like st paddys day …. But I’m super impressed that she woke up one morning ( after her brother had his liver transplant ) and said “ enough “ ….hasn’t had an alcoholic beverage since. Gummies “ hit the spot “ for her , she really loves the laugh factorys . Me too …. Rotflol. She hasn’t missed a beat.

I drive my etrike up to a local shopping center and have chips, salsa, and Dos Equis from time to time still. Not been etriking WX lately …. Back to back to back rain storms.

I would like the gummies but I’m drug tested randomly, marijuana first on the banned list. I eat some cbd gummies that might have traces of thc but they are otc nationwide , so no “ drugs “ left in those probably. I’d try substituting the gummies for my Xanax ( except at night ) … not likely to happen.

Rain has stopped again finally. Temps to hit the mid 80s here, temporarily, in a few days. Gonna be perfect for etriking and drones flying …. Gonna try to take full advantage of that new wx. Both the hammer and myself are on the upswing right now. Good convergence of wx and health should be great.

I just got my hefty Trump / Biden check and I’ll be having a double sized OPM check too, in the future. I was one of the poor souls that got robbed by the dipping rules in government. They are making a feeble effort to fix that thing they did. The extra money just in time for traveling and coasting. “ it’s a sign “ …Rotflol.

So far so good. He had a CT and Bone scan last Friday and should get results this Thursday. Fingers crossed. Thank you for asking.

But if Blended is all to be found: I'm your man ( An Irish expression , another being " There are people dying today - who never died before ) It's all about laughter and enjoying life . My daughter-in-law makes a mean corned beef and cabbage so we're going all in today. Unfortunately, I can't handle my whiskey very well anymore, Dr. thinks its an interaction with my cancer meds (?), so I'll have to nurse a neat one for a while. Miss the beer and a shot days.

Carlosbach . I read your Bio -- You are a champion , a fighter . I empathise with your condition and respect your candor . With respect to diet changes , generally but not totally agree . For example they say eating tomatoes , preferably fried , helps fend off Prostate Cancer . Hell I eat and always have , bushels of tomatoes all year long -- I got prostate cancer .Perhaps it may have been more serious - who knows for sure .

My personal motto , passed along from my father . Don't eliminate entirely the things , including food , you enjoy in life . It keeps you healthy and happy - your mind is at rest without worry what an occcassional scotch or whatever will do .

As is often quoted . A healthy heart diet is a healthhy prostate cancer diet . Enjoy your occasional sin food or drink . All things in moderation -- You will live longer .

Keep well . I am heading out to my winter home in La Quinta ,CA to play some golf at PGA West . ( And have a few drams of my Single Malt Whiskey .)
