"Im not only fighting my Stage 4 Oligo prostate cancer ..." I thought you were cured, no? Is your PSA rising again? Didn't you only have cancer in -pelvic lymph nodes? "Oligo" usually refers to distant metastases.

"... but just found out my 37 yr old Son has Lynch Syndrome " I'm sorry to hear he has a genomic abnormality. Was that on a germline test? Do you have it too?

I had one tumor in a Pelvic lymph node , 3 high dose fraction , then 25 across the pelvic area . Oligo i thought was 3 or less tumors ? So is Oligo Distant ? Thanks Again . SemperFi , JJ

Oligo is a term usually reserved for distant metastases. Distant metastases are stage M1, pelvic lymph node metastases are stage N1. Sometimes "miN1" is used for pelvic lymph node metastases that are only detected on PET imaging, but not conventional (CT or MRI) imaging.
