ATM GENE. CAN I DO CTC & LIQUID BIOPSY?

Should I do the CTC and Liquid Biopsy test as I have the ATM gene??

My MO said no but I don’t believe him

"I don't believe him". As Rick said in Casablanca: ..."I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship". Sorry my first thought is a little wacky. I don't have experience with the ATM gene. Hopefully someone will chime in soon. Best of luck.

What therapy might you want to change based on it? The new generation of PARP inhibitors in trials now might be effective against ATM mutations.

the more information I have hopefully will steer to beneficial treatments

I know 2 guys where this happened to their benefit
