No story to tell really (on Lupron+ABI+Pred+AZD5305 clinical trial) but simply to note that when I told my urologist about incontinence, leakage and urges to urinate, he prescribed MIRABEGRON 25 mg... Three days later, no more incontinence, leakage or urges...just saying...

Good to hear. I'll check this out
I don’t have an overactive bladder. Just stress incontinence and leaking. Will this help?
Thank you so much for this. I am really struggling with incontinance but it seems there are so many other pressing issues when Im at my onc that this subject falls to the wayside. Im all over this because leaking is getting ridiculous.
Again, thanks
Dear survivor: after 5 years of seeing a radiation onc and a medical onc, and just like you, they did not seem to want to deal with these 'minor' issues...I then decided to see my original urologist for a five year follow up and that's when he prescribed Mirabegron...
I hade read too often on this site that fellow patient did not trust urologists...not my experience so far...

Description: Mirabegron (Oral Route) is used alone or together with other medicines (eg, solifenacin succinate) to treat the symptoms of an overactive bladder (OAB), such as incontinence (loss of bladder control), a strong need to urinate right away, or a frequent need to urinate. It is also used to treat neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO). Mirabegron works on the muscles of the bladder to increase the amount of urine your bladder can hold and prevent them from causing incontinence.
This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.
This product is available in the following dosage forms:

I'm just curious about the cost. I tried it at one point—the urologist had a box of samples sitting in his office. The problem I had was that continuing to use them would be quite expensive. It's not a Medicare-approved drug (meaning the Medicare and Plan-D plans won't assist with it), and there is no manufacturer assistance program available for anyone on a "government" or Medicare drug plan.
I have also heard good anecdotal reports on Vibegron (Gemtesa) for urge incontinence and multiple night bathroom trips. But it may be expensive unless you get manuf's help.
