Has anyone heard of any preliminary results of the PACE-C trial? I am looking for any clinical data regarding the long term effects of SBRT on patients with advanced prostate cancer, if anyone knows of any other studies please share.
We are deciding on salvage treatments after RP. IMRT is the gold standards when SBRT is newer and has no track record yet and it is hard to decided.

All the data I've seen on SBRT has shown it to be non-inferior in other treatment settings with no increase in chance of Grade 3 side effects. I personally would make a logical assumption that these characteristics would carry over to the salvage treatment setting. But as Tall_Allen points out there isn't a large body of conclusive data yet. I personally would easily opt for 5 versus > 20 trips to the treatment center.
"Postprostatectomy SBRT was very well tolerated in this prospective cohort, with no significant effect on quality of life metrics postirradiation, while providing excellent clinical disease control."
If you got MRI guided you would reduce chance of side effects.
A proposed trial made this statement which I think is a reasonable statement.
"With growing acceptance of hypofractionation and the increase of ultra-hypofractionation for definitive radiation treatment of intact prostate cancer, hypofractionated regimens for post-operative management are poised to become a convenient option for patients."
