Good explanation of why drug prices in US are so high

This interview with Mark Cuban is a good explanation of why US drug prices are so high.

The interview is mostly about politics, but from 19:57 -29:52 it's about drug prices and costplusdrugs.om. Please only listen to that segment. I will not respond to anything else.

But why are NBA tickets so high? That's the real question.

Also, Elon Musk is a much better Billionaire than Mark Cuban.

i’ve actually compared prices to Mark Cubans drug company but I find that scriptco.com is a much better resource especially if you need Zytiga/Abiraterone or other “generics”

Check it out! Scriptco.com, free shipping too

( there is a small subscription fee)

Lupron has been around for 40 years. When will there be advances on immunotherapy that will not be so toxic to men? Sorry, Tall Allen if I got off topic.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The game is changing next year with a $2,000 cap on drug costs. However this is only calculated when you purchase your meds through your insurance plan. So if you know that you will be well above the cap when using insurance, it may not be a good idea to use GoodRX, Cuban etc to safe a few bucks on each transaction as those purchases will not be counted towards the $2,000.

That is true at present but not guaranteed. Anything can happen next year depending on how things go on Nov. 5. Remember what almost happened in 2017 to The Affordable Care Act.

Really nothing new from what Dr. Marty Makary wrote about in his book "The Price We Pay".

What Mark shares about the costs of healthcare are discussed also.

His(Dr Makary) books are very worth reading.

Thanks. Good discussion. There's no excuse for the lack of transparency in drug prices and health care prices in general.
