Despite my starting in 2023 with a diagnosis of stage 5, Gleason 9 scores in half of my prostate, the biopsy and scans showed that I was non-metastatic. My medical oncologist declared that my ADT and SBRT rendered me in remission as of June, 2024. I am 85.
My question is that suddenly in late July and August, 2024, I have had a sudden weight loss of about ten pounds, and wonder if this means anything dangerous? I dropped from 174 to about 163 at 5 feet 10 inches tall.
I am active, feel as good as can be expected under this treatment, and am active both mentally and physically. Yeah, I am fatigued all the time as well as confused most of the time.
Should I be worried? I am making a serious effort to eat more. I think my general condition has reduced my appetite. I am forcing food a bit now.
Thanks for any replies.
