Erections and orgasm while in Orgovyx

I've been on 120mg of orgovyx daily for 5 months now. My MO told me that the regiment is for 6 months, so I have only one more month left. I had proton beam radiation therapy, 26 sessions with boosting of the dominant lesion which I finished about two months ago. I haven't been able to have an erection or orgasm since about 3 weeks after I started the Orgovyx. Prior to starting the treatment, I had a fairly healthy and active sex life. Will my symptoms go back to pre treatment levels when I finish the 6 months of orgovyx??

I was on orgovyx for four months. I was back to baseline for erections and orgasms within a month after stopping. From what I’ve read, this is pretty typical and much much faster than recovery from Lupron and other forms of ADT.

If you should get a hard dickie...... make sure you take a picture of it for proof purposes. (Don't show it on off on youtube and/or etc)

It was a real challenge. Sometimes but not always.

Short answer, yes. I did 12 months of Orgovyx. Amazingly, was able to have erections and orgasms while on it. When I stopped Orgovyx, fatigue, muscle and joint stiffness went away within the first two to three weeks. The hot flashes closer to three months. First labs three moths after showed T at 328

I don’t know the machine and frankly it doesn’t matter nearly as much as the experience of the Docs. I had my treatment at MSK in NYC.

There’s where I’m going MSK, they use the Electra MRI LINAC SBRT.

I already had my consultation there and just got back my Dechipher score .26 low risk no hormone treatment needed.

So the side effects were minimal?

12 months out from SBRT with four months of ADT so my experience may not be comparable. Short term side effects were manageable and lasted only about 10 days.

I just finished 36 months on Orgovyx. I was able to achieve an erection sufficient for penetration throughout. Hmmm, maybe that is why I made it on the drug as long as I did.👍

I was at around 450 when I started the Orgovyx, now, while on it, I'm close to 0. No erection, no orgasm. I'm thinking of stopping the Orgovyx early.

I did six months of orgovyx after one month of lupron for the same reason, that erections and Testosterone would return much quicker. Within three weeks test roared back to to 585 but pulled back to 485 the following month and has pretty much remained there, erections improved but not to the level of pre orgo but I’m sure the radiation n RLPO plays a big role in it, nonetheless I’m glad I did the orgovyx as opposed to the lupron, there are nightmare stories about the lupron.. good luck n hope all returns to somewhere close to what you were…🍆🥳
