Curious to know if anyone has had any luck buying cheap Zytiga online and could give me any leads. Unfortunately in my situation I have to pay out of pocket and at 900 euro for a month's supply it is a bit much for me.Thanks 🙏 in advance.

It seems that you can by this medication in India for circa $360 for a one month supply. I guess that most westerners would be very weary about sourcing their meds in this way. I assume that you cannot bring this medication into the USA. Self sourcing your medication may well negate your health insurance policy. I think that many others on this platform will know far more me on this subject. Personally I would at least look into it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not in USA and don't have a health plan there so it should fly. What I'm really interested in is information on a reliable supplier in India that sells the real thing.

I have same challenge as am in Nigeria. However, I was advised to be cautious buying drugs via Indiamart due to widespread fraud and counterfeit drugs. Am stuck and have been unable to identify an alternate reliable source. Any information on alternate reliable affordable source will be highly appreciated. Thank you

the generic version Abiraterone has become quite reasonable in the USA. Have you tried searching prices for it where you live?

Abiraterone is now $2-300/month at CostCo and some drug store pharmacies. My Blue Cross Medicare Prescription Drug plan charges me $75/month, but is paying $5,000/month as if it were still the patented Zytiga. I wrote them a letter asking why they were paying so much for a generic drug. Maybe they considered me a whistle blower, because their response was to dis-enroll me from the plan. It took me a month to get back in.

Is that two to three hundred dollars? What is the name of the generic please? I'm in France ill ask my doctor here.

$2-300 is two to three hundred dollars. The drug is called Zytiga. It is a second-generation ARPI (Androgen Receptor Pathway Inhibitor), is made by Johnson & Johnson, was approved in 2011, and was widely used before third-generation AR drugs like Xtandi and Erlead. Zytiga's patent was invalidated in 2018 and it is now sold as generic Abiraterone Acetate. When it was sold as Zytiga, it was very expensive. As generic Abiraterone, it is now relatively inexpensive, with a cash price at many pharmacies of $150 for thirty 250 mg pills. The usual dose is four pills daily.

Thanks for that. In France where I am it's 1000 euro a month's supply. I'm not french so I don't have the state benefits

Hi. Do you know where I can purchase Abiraterone? I used to get for my dad from this pharmacy in India for around $200 a bottle. There was a significant decrease after a month of taking. It continued to decrease. But after 9 months of taking, it went up again like it was before taking Abiraterone. . I hope I could get recommendations, and also from those who get to see this. I’m from the Philippines. Thank you

Look into applying for grants they are out there. Call the manufacturer or ask your doctor to help in finding them.

I am in India and yes prices here are much cheaper for the same drugs. But be careful as many frauds who prey on unsuspecting , desperate people. I wish these frauds go to hell.

I wish I could help but I don’t know how I could send it overseas

I was paying $162 a month cash from Kroger specialty. I just didn’t use my insurance company because it was cheaper to pay cash. There is something really wrong with that picture but it worked.

Thanks that's affordable - excuse my ignorance but what/where is Kroger speciality? Do they only deliver in USA?

I ran out when I was in India when I was over there. They charged me $300.00 for a 30 day supply. PSA is now .25. Not bad for being on it 7 years.

Hi. May I ask the pharmacy or link where you used to purchase your Abirtaterone? Thank you very much.

Rodeoz15 profile image

The actual cost in India for generic Abiraterone manufactured by a good pharma company is ~150 USD for 30 day dose. There are cheaper and higher generic versions available as well. If you know anyone who is travelling from India to your country, you can request them to buy it for you. If you are buying online, please only buy from stores which other members vouch for, as there are lots of online scam sites in India.
