Apparently it's no longer fashionable to go on adt holiday.
I guess the research supports that. But not by a lot.
I think it's still a good idea myself.
And there are treatments (bipolar androgen therapy) that basically call for it.
Just the opposite here, I go on a Testosterone Holiday!!!! Back in 2015 I was given my biopsy results on a Monday morning in April and 24 hours later THE BOYS left town BECAUSE I had a bilateral Orchiectomy or IrADT -- (Irreversible ADT). I chose a non-SOC treatment for my GL10 and then in January 2016 my Dr. prescribed bi-weekly Cypionate (Testosterone) Injections (again non-SOC for GL10) so following every injection I went on a Holiday because I could say --

and WHY??? BECAUSE >>> 👍👍
I am not sure that is the case. I'm on my 2nd one, 1st was after completing triplet therapy in May 17, lasted 4-1/2 years. 2nd is the one I'm on, finished SBRT and 12 Months of Orgovyx on 3 April. How long will this one be, who knows, labs on 9 July were clear, T up to 328. So, at least for another three months. After I stopped the Orgovyx, was feeling better in 2-3 weeks, fatigue and muscle and joint stiffness gone. Hot flashes have largely subsided.
For me, my medical team and I have clear clinical data criteria for coming off treatment, actively monitor while off and clear clinical data criteria for going back on.
