Maybe it was my Bday 28 miles😜, Nah exercise helps with fluid flow. I have compression calf sleeves that I wear thru the day and off at night. And Yes I'm still hiking 😁 did 6.2 Sat am
Not CHF Congestive Heart Failure in which the heart isn't strong enough to propel the fluids in legs and it pools there
Had a PCT hiker from South Africa who broke her upper L bicuspid in 1/2 front to back. I numbed, removed the section, smoothened the remaining tooth, gave her an Rx for Pen VK to have with her just in case. She's heading to the Sierras and said it'll be about 6 months total! Yikes
Did a 4 miler in Veterans Park in Manhattan Beach and gorged afterwards with dumplings, curry pizza, and lime chicken Fettucine. Had leftovers for lunch YUM YUM

When I saw the song, "Runaway" by Janet I thought maybe it was her version of Del Shannon's song. This song was the absolute favorite of a late great friend.
I have the same issue, also with my left leg. I am wearing a compression sock now in fact. I just bought one that goes all the way up to the top of my thigh, so full length. At night I elevate my leg on several pillows. This all seems to help but the issue doesn't appear to be going away. I have an appointment for a lymphedema consult at Mayo clinic on July 9th. If I find out anything useful I will pass it along.
Gosh buddy, you look’in swell. I do that now and then but I pee so much, kinda no fluid's left in me …. this is why I kinda like that. I have sorta the inverse of that, much of my feet and legs looks swollen in places but it’s hard like semi rigor. No feeling down there ( up to my hips ) for several years now too. Numb … those pneumatic compression devices seem the way to go if they aren’t too uncomfortable. Just a layman’s perspective buddy.
Yea the numbness is a combo of mostly ADT neuropathy , combined with some diabetic neuropathy …. Supposedly. But diabetic neuropathy is supposed to have the pins and needles nerve effect and I don’t have that. Prolly all ADT type.
Are you taking something like HTZ to dump those extra fluids ? That’s what I use.
Oh crap about the neuropathy 😢I'm on an ADT vay kay until PSA rises enough, MO said he's cool, give my body a break for maybe a few months or longer - maybe IMRTs killed a sh*t ton of PCa 🤔
No diuretic, I pee enough with coffee and night beers. Gon see how I do with a long hike on Sat - I'm prepping for a thing in September, will post when I'm definitely gon do it
A pit stop in the office to pee, drink a beer and get Hemp/Menthol onto L hammy. 2 more miles to go 😜 I am wearing thigh length compression shots. My kidney function tests were fine, now hands are swollen, probs cuz they hang down, I don't walk with hands up like a T Rex 😁
Yea mannnn …. they can’t find anything so it’s Ok then ….. right ??? NOT !!!!! Seriously dooode, maybe you need a second option from a specialist …. Just say’s. Swelling up like a water ballon doesn’t look good on you and is “ never “ a good thing, esp on an active athletic guy like you. You might beOK with it, but it looks like it needs a little more attention to me. Just say’in. If that was happening to my Humpty Dumpty body, I’d be waiting for my heart attack. Your particulars are quite different but still.
Next, tell a woman you have a swollen foot down below. When she asks you to show it to her, show her your penis..... If she says "hey that's not a foot"... tell her "why quibble about a few inches".
Hey Doc, I had ankle swelling on ADT and found it helped if I didn’t drink morning coffee and sit at my desk in the mornings. Standing up early part of the day and drinking water seemed to help.
Keep up the running walking though, it helps immensely. BTW, I ran the Laguna Hills Memorial 10K, very hilly course, placed 2nd in the 65’s couple weeks ago. Cheers!
Oh Awesome Brother, excellent job running and placing 2nd in you age group 💙. Been off Lupron and Abiraterone for a few months, will restart when PSA rises. Probs the IMRTs last year that damaged pelvic lymph nodes
