psa risen 3 points since diagnosis. Does it mean cancer spread?

I am so grateful for this website as I am learning so much every day about this disease from all of you. My husband started his first injection of Degerelix today and they took his blood work . His psa from April which was 11.4 today was 14.3. I’m hoping this doesn’t mean the cancer is spreading. Could there by other reasons for the jump of 3 points in 2 months. TIA.

It means his cancer is putting more PSA into the blood. That's all it means.

It means what everyone thinks......... scares you half to death..... But I've seen my PSA fluctuate and I guess what T_A meant is that those little buggers are having sex orgies at our expense. So take a chill pill when you're scared.
