Thank you for the links. I’ll be sure to share them with the Vets group where I live, as I never knew about them. 💙💙💙

You're Welcome and that's awesome - gotta "Save the Males" & "Keep them in the Game" and exhort them to get checked💙

Thanks for sharing this. For years the military aviation fighter community has seen what could best be described as an abnormally high incidents of prostrate cancer. This seemed to prevalent in the guys who flew 60s thru 70 series jets. Fighters like the F100, 105s, etc and early navy stuff. As well as in the ground crews exposed to electrical waves, etc.

There has been a great deal of speculation about the high rates of prostate cancer among aircrews and flight line maintenance personnel. Most of it seems to revolve around electrical shielding of radar, fire control systems, etc.

The Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association has been fighting this issue for years. It was never really resolved but the VA PACT act gave some relief to this issue by allowing Prostrate cancer to be covered under the Agent Orange/Burn Pit umbrella for those serving during those eras.

At some point in the future this will become a none issue as that era service members pass on. The bow wave of that era is now in our late 70s and 80s.

As the article seems to apply flying and especially “hair on fire” fast jets seems to have a genetic component to it. The military pilots today are in fact more disciplined but the “need for speed” still exists.

Thanks again for sharing.

You're welcome and I knew that we have Military Men here due to exposure. My Dad had mesothelioma from working on ships in Pearl Harbor, he got compensated, but he passed from Pancreatic Ca in 1995😢
