My father has had a relapse of long controlled PSA in 2022 and his PSA levels went upto 10.58; abieraterone didn't work ; he was also put on Docetaxal, he could tolerate one dose of it only and was stopped on this...he is on Enzalutamide 160 along with Wysolone 5 mg for the last 4 months...with his PSA coming down slowly slowly to 0 .890.However he continues to complain of Low appetite, listless, bed ridden, increasing weakness,

Is there possibility of intermittent and lower intake of Enzultamide, as his PSA is under 0.890 now

Request for your insight and guidance please

Many Thanks, it seems a perfect way to reduce the side effects

My father was using half dose to reduce side effects of Xtandi, which was able to keep his PSA undetectable. He's on vacation as of now.

Hi, if you don’t mind me asking, did your father have a liver transplant due to prostate cancer?

he has had his liver transplantation in 2001 due to many factors like Alcholism, a weak hep B positive, HCV positive.. His hep B is completely gone and viral load as of today is very low which does not warrant any therapy for his HCV positive status. Due to a drug reaction post his surgery, he has had lymphnadopathy all over his body and when he was weaned off from that drug, Mycophile Myelate ( Cellcept) he started recovering. The doctor opined that time that there will be a reaction somewhere down the line. His PSA levels were elevated in 2007 and he was diagnosed with Prostratic Ca in 2007. thanks.
