Pluvicto and driving Home from the Treatment

Hello everyone,

When I am done with my Pluvicto it takes me about one and a half hours to get home. The problem is after the treatment, I have to urinate a lot.

It is difficult to keep stopping. Has anyone tried using a diaper after Pluvicto treatment?

Thank you all in advance.

If you bring a plastic bottle and pull over, you won't risk radioactive urine against your skin.

You want to minimize the spread of radioactive urine. It really is hot. I checked mine with a Geiger counter. A diaper is a really bad idea because you will have to keep it for a week or two before disposal as you do with soiled clothing. And even thought it might be very little you will have radioactive pee on your skin as TA suggests. Normally when traveling (since I need to pee frequently) I have used an external catheter. I did not use these when radioactive because of slight risk of spilling and also the need to wash the catheter tubes.

A bottle is the best solution but choose something with a reliable tight fitting lid. And one that you can pee into easily without missing. I have a bunch of cute little beer "growlers" that look like miniature kegs. They have screw tops and are large enough that my (now)itty bitty pee pee fits just fine. The advantage is that they will not spill at all if you close the top and the stainless steel even blocks some of the radioactivity. Previously I used a glass milk bottle which has a wider top so if you still have anything left of your dick this might be better but the closure is not as secure. Figure out some way to keep the bottle propper up so it does not tip and spill. When you get home dump in the toilet and double wash and double flush. If you are the only one using the bathroom you can be a bit more careless but if you share it especially with young people you do need to be careful.

When you are traveling, it it is a long distance you should respect the one meter rule to anyone who might be harmed by the radiation. The most vulnerable are young people especially children and infants whose cell are growing rapidly. The effects of radiation exposure are not likely to show up in less than 20 years so exposing people who will be dead before then is not really a problem. That is why they say it is not critical if you expose pets but I still either stay away or put lead between us.

There is really a lot of radiation from Pluvicto, it is not a joke.

I tried the plastic things the hospitals give you, didn't work. I found an antique glass milk bottle and discovered it fit perfectly on the end of my penis. I could piss while driving and not spill a drop.

im not taking pluvito treatments but i take tripple diuretecs to limit edema in legs therefore i piss alot ..when i drive from houston to new mexico ..i wear loose fitting shorts and go cammo....and im able to acess my elevator button of a penis and relieve at 70 mph....eliminating numerous pit stops....and eliminating wetting me self by not having to unzip and search for the nub that was once a proud staff of might....to much info ...so what....bw

Hi spolyu. I’ve completed 5 Pluvicto infusions, get my last one in six days (yay!). I have a little more than an hour drive home afterwards and although I’ve never put it to the test I always wear Depends that day and for the next three because of the amount of water we need to consume during that time. They are a surprisingly comfortable product. I can recommend them. Good luck!
