I have switched from Docetaxel to Cabazitaxel. Should I still take the Grastofil injections?

Thanks, I just wanted to confirm. I am not impressed with my Oncologist. Waiting for a referral to Vancouver.

We dont have any Oncologists here where we live and hope to be reassigned to one in Vancouver soon. Scary ride with no medical professionals having time for more patients these days . Wish you the very best with the chemo

I know with docetaxel and carboplatin I will probably be scheduled for a shot, Grastofil, to help with white blood cells. I noticed it was not scheduled as I start a new round of chemo next Wednesday.

I had to get the Grastofil covered under my extended medical plan. They don’t offer it the first time you get chemo. They wait and see how your body responds.
